Pink Floyd recorded the dark side of moon with EMI staff Alan Persons. Released in March 1973, The Dark Side Of Moon became an instant chart success in the UK and throughout Western Europe.
I completely agree. The only reason I say it wasn't there best album is because they were so versatile with what they could do. On one hand, Piper was their best. On the other, Animals was. Hell, even Ummagumma was if you think about it the right way. Maybe I should phrased it better; Dark Side is arguably one of the best albums of all time; but only ONE of the best albums by Pink Floyd. Their entire discography (excluding a couple of songs from AMLOR) was beautiful, and a genius work of art, and a masterpiece. Just don't put there albums on shuffle
