What Are Your Thoughts On Ummagumma?

I see why some people may think Ummagumma is a bad album overall, or that you need to be high to enjoy, but I genuinely think that this is a great album. The best songs are definitely Grantchester Meadows and The Narrow Way, Pt. 3, but I also loved some of the less popular songs, like Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict and Sisyphus, Pt. 2.

What do you guys think of it?

I have never owned or even listened to that album, not sure why? Possibly because it does not get any decent reviews. I will need to rectify that and give it a spin.

Good thread. Personally, I think that, at this point, any album by PF is great after listening to the over-pompous, overrated The Wall, excluding the song Comfortably Numb . Ummagumma is a well-arranged album and production is excellent.
