However, I can't fathom how bandmates and mutual friends of a lifetime couldn't recognize a long time friend despite the fact that Syd was very ill, completely bald and wearing baggy clothes ! Our ol' high school class recognized - immediately- an old lass at a school reunion after almost 40 years and she had very deep wrinkles, had 5 heart attacks, had deep syndrome depression and was very obese.......and we weren't lifetime friends, only high school mates !!</p></blockquote><p></p>
